A very good wrap on the front half cost me about $1300. Done at home in about 4 hours in the latest material.

If the paintwork is in really good nick you might want to consider a wrap/stone protection for the front & wing mirrors. If you go that way get the whole bonnet done, not just the front third as some choose.

          Plenty of 901'ers with 993's.
          Thanks for the suggestion Doug.

Car does not have a mark on it having benefitted from a full external repaint by authorised Porsche repairer/painted Ron Goodman in the past 2 years.

thanks Doug. seems a worthwhile idea. I have the original paint on my 993 so it has the stone chips etc associated with nearly 20 years of occasional use. Anyone issues with putting 3m over older paint? Its still in great nick I should add.

There shouldn't be Jeff. As long as there are not cracks. The new film available does not take paint away when removed, does not yellow and is more transparent than the earlier film. They will clean your car first and then fit the film. They recommend that you use VuPlex (avail. Bunnings) to protect and clean the film.

Clyde - we are all waiting on some photos of that car ...
