here's my new garage - which has been designed to allow a lift. we only moved back in to the house a couple of weeks ago after a monster reno' so not really sorted wrt storage etc.
one of the cool aspects is the lighting: 2 full length skylights; 4 central flouros for everyday use; and 8 flouros above each bay for wrenching.
given i live in inner-city latte-land (where most punters park on the street), a double garage is a rarity/nice bonus.

Ryan, impressive ceiling height, what is it? also nice to have so much natural light streaming into the garage, a luxury I won't have in the basement garage
the ceiling height is about 3.3m at the low end and about 3.9m at the high end. give me a call if you want to check it out.
i also have a good garage book with some great tips on power (i've put a double outlet every meter on each wall - but forgot to do a central roof mounted outlet...) and lighting etc. the architect laughed when she saw my lighting plan...
