There is an area allocated... but space will be at a premium.
8am is a little early - but before 9am. There will be a list at the gate and yes I'll need help. You'll be assisting with judging... with who or what class I don't know.
Great day yesterday - BIG thanks to Justin!!
You where pretty close to the 20 901's you where after... I hadn't seen that ivory 67/68 S before.
I'll start another thread with pics.
Totally agree - as a first timer it was a great experince particularly meeting members and comparing the 901's in a row plus all the other models. Dennis really appreciated your comments and advice. Tony happy 10th wedding anniversay for last Saturday.
It ended up being a glorious Sydney Sunday after a distinctly dodgy, wet Saturday evening. Louise and I celebrated a wedding anniversary with a pile of old mates at home the night before. I did not enjoy giving the car a quick once-over in the morning prior to getting down to Clontarf before 10am. Enough said.
I hope to write something for the next issue of the Club magazine this week so wont say much here, other than to post a pretty random dozen pix and congratulate a few Typ901ers - especially Matt Hart and Shane Rudd whose cars are looking absolutely great. See the pix. Can someone make Nick Taylor hold onto that 71S - it is just a pretty car. Dennis judged, by the look of it applying a level of scholarship that the W+P has never previously been subjected to. As you all know his car has been in major surgery for some months and despite the best of intentions didnt quite make it on the day. Next year Mr Brooks.
Didnt see much of Justin other than the odd blur in a fluoro jacket flapping past every so often. Another very good job though Mr Reed. Well done.
............oops. Just noticed a heap of photos pop up. Looks a superb turn-out.
Love the BRG T (some say Irish green, or Kelly green (US)) with Steelies - presumably Matt Hart's car as featured on US Early 911S Registry site.
